As far as having to visit the dentist goes, Bassett Dental Practice is a friendly and relaxed place to be.The staff are all friendly and caring, and make the experience a whole lot easier.My dental hygenist, Gina, introduced me to GBT cleaning today and I can highly recommend it. Slightly more expensive but the results are definitely improved from the standard treatment.
A week ago I had my first hygienist appointment for 20 years.I have very sensitive teeth, the hygienist room and instruments felt like torture to me.A while ago I picked a leaflet about a new way of hygienist treatment.I asked Alex ( my amazing dentist) she recommended I should have a go, and so did her nurse.So I did.I was very nervous.This is when I appreciate the receptionists , I get very anxious before I visit the dentist.They are always kind, understanding, encouraging, never critical, and so visiting the dentist is less daunting.Gina, the hygienist, was very kind, gentle, and explained every stage to me.understood my teeth are sensitive, my anxiety, and rather than working against it worked with it, she seemed to sense when I needed a break.I think that for Gina it must have been frustrating not to be able to do her job "properly"but, the reasons are not her expertise as a hygienist, but having a patient like me, and the fact that I didn't visit an hygienist for such a long time.The difference between the new treatment and the old fashioned one is amazing.I will have it again, and this is a "miracle."
I have always been worried about going to the dentist to the detrimental health of my teeth. I would go and then leave it for a couple of years and I think in the end it was embarrassment for leaving it for so long. But I have been going on a regular basis since I was treated by Dr Janal Patel at Bassett dental for several years now. She put me at ease immediately, she was not at all judgemental and very kind and caring. I have had a partial upper plate, a root canal, and some fillings. And it is so good when i go for a check up that all is goingb okay. All the treatment I have had Dr Patel explained exactly what she will be doing, and Lauren the dental nurse is lovely, friendly and caring. I also see the hygenist Lucy who also puts you at your ease and helps with advice on keeping your teeth and gums healthy. I highly recommend The team at Bassett Dental especially if you are frighted or nervous about dental treatment. The receptionists are so lovely and helpful also. I signed up to a dental plan which suits me really well as i am on a fixed income.
The staff are really friendly and caring. The surgery is nice and modern and airy. The dental care is fantastic, they have all the latest treatments and techniques available, so even things like a hygienist trip is a really pleasant experience.Superb dental surgery, I would strongly recommend it.
I recently attended Bassett Dental Practice for a routine check up and xrays. The whole experience was excellent. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The Dental Therapist Aneri Sharma was very professional, thorough, and caring. One of the things I really appreciate about Bassett Dental is that the administration is very smooth, and completing the pre-appointment forms at home a couple of days before the appointment and the minimal time spent in the waiting area greatly reduces any stress.
I had my tooth extracted here by Dr Barbara S and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care I received. The dentist was extremely professional, gentle, and reassuring throughout the whole procedure, which really helped put me at ease. What truly stood out was the follow-up call the following day to check how I was feeling — that level of care and kindness is very much appreciated.
Myself and my family have been part of this practice for many years and saw the transition from when Dr Patel took over.This practice is wonderful, all staff are welcoming and friendly. Lucy (hygienist) is brilliant with myself and my husband and Dr Patel is the most calm, patient and understand dentist. I am a nervous patient but she always makes sure I am as settled as possible.They are also brilliant with children, couldn't recommend this lovely practice more.
Wanted to thank Aneri and her assistant today for replacing my tricky filling today. Both were fantastic, I came away really feeling like I had been well looked after throughout, thank you :)Also wanted to mention, I've been a patient here my whole life and have always felt very welcomed by the receptionist and all that work there. The place is also looking great with all the building work that's been done.Hope me and my family will be patients for many years to come still too, thank you
