A dermal filler treatment is a non-surgical procedure that helps restore this lost volume and provide better structure for your skin.
It is also excellent at enhancing features such as lips, jaw line, chin and cheeks.
A dermal filler is injected under the skin with an ultra-fine needle or use of cannula, enhancing volume and contour for a more youthful and harmonious appearance. There are various types of fillers and your clinician will choose the right product based on your desired treatment/ outcome. We use Juvederm® and Restylane Perfecta® dermal fillers among other products.
To make the procedure as comfortable as possible, a topical anaesthetic may be used depending on the area of the face to be treated.
Treatments generally take between 30 – 45 minutes. After the treatment, some patients experience mild redness or bruising, swelling and sensitivity.
The visible effects of dermal filler treatments are almost always immediately noticeable, and can typically last from 6 to 9 months.
